1) Surah 5 Verse 68 & 69
68. Say: "O People of the Scripture! You have nothing till you act according to the Tawrah (Torah), the Injil (Gospel), and what has (now) been sent down to you from your Lord (the Qur'an).'' Verily, the revelation that has come to you from your Lord makes many of them increase in rebellion and disbelief. So do not grieve for the people who disbelieve.
69. Surely, those who believe, and those who are the Jews and the Sabians and the Christians, whosoever believed in Allah and the Last Day, and worked righteousness, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.)
Explanation by Ibn Kathir on these two verses
(O People of the Scripture! You have nothing...) meaning no real religion until you adhere to and implement the Tawrah and the Injil. That is, until you believe in all the Books that you have that Allah revealed to the Prophets. These Books command following Muhammad and believing in his prophecy, all the while adhering to his Law. Before, we explained Allah's statement, (Verily, the revelation that has come to you from your Lord makes many of them increase in rebellion and disbelief.) (So do not grieve for the people who disbelieve), Do not be sad or taken aback by their disbelief. Allah said next, (Surely, those who believe) referring to Muslims, (those who are the Jews) who were entrusted with the Tawrah, (and the Sabians. ..) a sect from the Christians and Magians who did not follow any particular religion. As for the Christians, they are known and were entrusted with the Injil. The meaning here is that if each of these groups believed in Allah and the Hereafter, which is the Day of Judgement and Reckoning, and performed good actions, which to be so, must conform to Muhammad's Law, after Muhammad was sent to all mankind and the Jinns. If any of these groups held these beliefs, then they shall have no fear of what will come or sadness regarding what they lost, nor will grief ever affect them.
What you said about this verse yesterday was incorrect. Let me give you an analogy. Let’s say, I give my son a science book and tell him that he is going to be questioned in the final exam from the book and if he reads the book well, he will pass the exam. Let’s say, my son made the mistake – did not keep it safe and lost it.
If I repeat my statement, “if you follow the book I gave you, you will pass the exam”, my son cannot counter-argue saying because I don’t have the book, your statement is therefore incorrect. This verse in the Qur’an is confirming the fact that the book was given and is not talking about whether the book has been maintained in the original form or has been altered by the people.
In the above verse, Allah is saying to the people of the book (Jews and the Christians) that there can be no guidance other than the guidance in their books Torah and the Gospel the way it was revealed not the present form. It is a fact and Muslims do believe that the Torah was given to Moses (PBUH) and the Gospel was given to Jesus (PBUH). Because the people did not preserve their books and have corrupted them by additions and omissions, they do not have the guidance as intended through the original revelations in those scriptures. In short, what this verse is saying is if they follow all the scriptures (Torah, Gospel and the Qur’an) the way it was revealed to the Prophets, they have the guidance. And because the people did not preserve the earlier books other than the Qur’an and due to their additions and omissions have introduced so many contradictions, they do not have the guidance.
Because the people of the book corrupted the earlier scriptures, God took it upon Himself to preserve the last and final revelation – Al-Qur’an when He says,
15:9 We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).
That is why, the Qur’an was written down while Muhammad (PBUH) was alive and when he died, there were at least twenty two companions who had memorized it verbatim and taught to people. That is why the enemies of Islam could not introduce any additions or contradictions to the scripture.
2) Surah 19 Verse 18 & 19
17. She placed a screen before them; then We sent to her Our Ruh (Jibrael), and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects.
18. She said: "Verily, I seek refuge with the Most Gracious (Allah) from you, if you do fear Allah.''
19. (The angel) said: "I am only a messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son.
Explanation by Ibn Kathir on these three verses
(She placed a screen before them;) This means that she hid herself from them and concealed herself. Then, Allah sent Jibril to her. (and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects.) ﴿19:17﴾ This means that he came to her in the form of a perfect and complete man. (then We sent to her Our Ruh,) "It means Jibril. (She said: "Verily, I seek refuge with the Most Gracious from you, if you do fear Allah.'') This means that when the angel (Jibril) appeared to her in the form of a man, while she was in a place secluded by herself with a partition between her and her people, she was afraid of him and thought that he wanted to rape her. Therefore, she said, (Verily, I seek refuge with the Most Gracious from you, if you do fear Allah.) She meant, "If you fear Allah,'' as a means of reminding him of Allah. This is what is legislated in defense against (evil), so that it may be repulsed with ease. Therefore, the first thing she did was try to make him fear Allah, the Mighty and Sublime. ("Verily, I seek refuge with the Most Gracious from you, if you do fear Allah.'' He said: "I am only a messenger from your Lord...'') This means that the angel said to her in response, and in order to remove the fear that she felt within herself, "I am not what you think, but I am the messenger of your Lord.'' By this he meant, "Allah has sent me to you.''
As you can see, a pious lady living in seclusion, upon seeing a perfect man approaching her, got scared and invoked Allah and reminded him of Allah. To ease her fears, Gabriel (PBUH) introduced himself saying he is an angel bearing the glad tidings of the birth of her son.
It is not mandatory that whenever an angel comes down with a message he must introduce himself first. Did the angel introduce himself when he first came to Abraham (PBUH) when he was about to be put in the fire? No. But we muslims regard Abraham (PBUH) as one of our Prophets and Messengers. In another incident, when two angels came to Abraham (PBUH) and his wife Sarah and when Abraham (PBUH) brought food in front of them and they did not eat, Abraham (PBUH) got concerned. To allay his fears, they introduced themselves as angels and said they do not eat. They came to give the glad tidings of the birth of their son Isaac. Where in your Bible does it say that the Angels introduced themselves first when they went to Abraham?
These two angels after visiting Abraham (PBUH) and his wife Sarah, went to Lot (PBUH) as his guests. Did they introduce themselves first to Lot as Angels? No. When the people of Lot (PBUH) demanded that the two men (angels) turned over to them for sodomy, Lot (PBUH) got afraid that he will not be able to protect his guest against his evil people. Then the angels told Lot (PBUH) that they are angels and he need not be afraid. Where in your Bible does it say that the Angels first introduced themselves when they went to Lot (PBUH)? We Muslim regard Lot (PBUH) as one of our Prophets.
When the first interaction between Zackariya (PBUH) and the angel took place, did the angel introduce himself first? No. But we Muslims regard Zackariya (PBUH) as one of our Prophets. Where in your Bible does it say, that the Angel first introduced himself when he went to Zackariya (PBUH)?
From the above examples, it is obvious that the introduction of angels is not a pre-condition to the validity of the message. There are numerous occasions when angel Gabriel (PBUH) introduced himself to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and on two occasions Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) saw Gabriel (PBUH) in his natural state (meaning not in the shape of a man). Also, on the night of ascension, Gabriel (PBUH) carried Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) unto heavens.
So, your argument that since Gabriel (PBUH) did not introduce himself to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) during the first revelation, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) therefore is not a Prophet has no merit.
Conclusion
In conclusion of my response to you, I would like to sincerely invite you to Islam so that you may also be rightly guided. Because, the Bible you have with you is not the word of God in its entirety. Some of the portions may be the word of God, but people have introduced so many changes and there are so many contradictions in the Bible.
You and I agree that God is Omnipotent, All-Knowing, All-Hearing, Most Merciful, Most Just, The Beneficent, Severe in Punishment, etc. For any book to be called God’s book, there can be no errors or known, accepted contradictions.
Many Christian scholars more knowledgeable than you and me have accepted these contradictions in the Bible in the present form. For example, in 1864 the British Rev. C.P. Fonder debated with a Muslim scholar named Rahmathullah Kairanvi in Agra
I ask you – how can there be known errors in the word of God? So, God does not know? Even if there can be one error, how can that book be accepted as the word of God?
Please take a look at this link. This link has the book called Ihzar-ul-Haq (The Truth Revealed) written by Rahmathullah Kairanvi in response to Rev. C.P. Fonder and to the Christians highlighting the errors and contradictions and acceptance of these contradictions by known Christian scholars. If you can prove that these are not contradictions or errors, I am willing to convert to Christianity as preached by Jesus (PBUH). If you accept these contradictions and errors in the present form of the Bible, are you willing to enter into Islam?
If you accept these contradictions and errors in the Bible, and if you do not want to enter into Islam, at the least you should stop propagating these errors to other people. You actually are doing disservice to people by preaching these errors.
Take your time in responding. I will patiently wait to hear your response. In the past, when I have asked the other missionaries to respond to these contradictions and errors, I did not hear anything from them and to me it means they have nothing to prove that these were not contradictions and errors. I am hoping that you will be different and respond to these contradictions in the Bible.

Thank you for the message. I read through the document you send me. By the grace of God I will respond to you. Before that, I want to ask you whether you would accept my response quoting the Torah (Old Testament) and Injeel (New Testament).
My best source for information is the Word of God the Holy Bible. I would always depend on God's Word than the words of scholars.
Jesus said:
Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away (Matt 24:35).
As God is eternal His Word is eternal. God has kept His Word intact through generations. This is why Torah and Injeel are still preserved. (Psa 119:89 Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven).
Please let me know whether I can depend on the Holy Bible to answer you.

Dear friend Alex,
Thank you for the response. What I would really like from you is to respond for the contradictions and errors mentioned in "The Truth Revealed" (I sent you the link in the word document). Yes you can use the Bible to respond.
What I am saying to you is - the books Torah, Psalm, Gospel were infact revealed to Moses (PBUH), David (PBUH) and Jesus (PBUH). But the present form with all the additions, changes, errors, contradictions and concoctions are not the word of God as it was originally revealed to the Messengers but rather altered by man. For any book to be considered the word of God there should be no errors.
You also did not answer to my challenge - I ask you again. If it is proven to you (you may choose to not accept the fact) that the present form of your Bible has many contradictions and errors and hence cannot be the word of God. Are you ready to convert to Islam?
If you are going to respond, please let's discuss one contradiction/error at a time before we move on to the next one. We can keep this as an ongoing dialogue. We also promise that we treat each other with respect so that this dialogue helps us in following the right path.

Thank you for the reply. Also, thank you for telling me that I can use the Bible references to respond to you. I am replying to your document you send me dated June 5, 2011. Today’s date is June 11, 2011. Please read my response carefully as I read yours. Please avoid writing other people’s explanation and opinions (the reason being: As you may not consider Salman Rushdie’s opinion as valid as I may not consider the so called Scholar’s opinion as valid).
1) Let us read Surah 5:68 as it is. The things in bracket are not in Quran. Also, we do not need a story or a big explanation from Scholars to understand what is written in this verse. If you are in doubt about this verse please go to other verses in the Quran, OR ask me who is reading the Holy Bible as commanded by the Quran ( Surah 10:94).
Surah 5: 68 reads this way: Say, `O People of the Book, you stand on nothing until you observe the Torah and the Gospel and what has been sent down to you from your Lord.'
This is a direct admonition to the people of the Book (The Jews and Christians). This is talking about the books revealed to Jews and Christians – Torah, Injeel, Sabur, the prophetic books etc. The spirit that spoke to Mohammad (May there be peace for him) is asking him to tell Jews and Christians to observe what has been revealed in Torah and Injeel. This indicates that there was written word of God with Jews and Christians at the time of Mohammad and it was trustworthy. Quran NEVER says Christian Scripture had been corrupted instead Quran upholds the Christian Scripture.
Let us look at few more verses from Quran that confirms what I wrote about the meaning of this passage.
Surah 5: 47 And let the people of the Gospel judge according to what ALLAH has revealed therein, and whoso judges not by what ALLAH has revealed, these it is who are the transgressors.
Surah 5:47 says that let Christians judge according to what is written in the Gospels. If the New Testament was corrupted Quran could never tell that Christians should use the Gospels. Instead Quran should have told Mohammad to tell Christians not to use their Gospels because it was corrupted.
Quran commanded Mohammad to ask Jews and Christians who are reading the Bible when Mohammad is in doubt (Surah 10:94). The Scriptures Jews and Christians using were accurate that is why Mohammad was asked to consult those who was reading the Bible (Torah and Injeel). Following command of the Quran you should read the Holy Bible and it has the True way of Salvation.
Quran commanded to bring the Torah and read from it: 3: 93 .. Say, `Bring, then, the Torah and read it, if you are truthful.'
Mohammad asked the people to bring Torah to decide on an adulterous for judgment: (see Sahih Bukhari Book 38, no. 4434) A group of Jews went to Muhammad and ask him to pronounce judgment on an adulterous couple. Muhammad asked for the Torah to be brought before him, and the couple was subsequently stoned, in accordance with the penalty laid down in the Torah. This incident indicates that Muhammad deferred to the Torah for judgment.
In summary, Quran agreed that Old Testament(Torah) and the New Testament(Injeel) are the Word of God (Surah 3:2-3; 4:136; 2:136; 5:44,47- 51, 16:43) and Quran again confirms that the Word of God cannot be changed (Sura 10:64, 6:34, 6:115, 15:9, 18:27). Therefore Quran never mentioned that OT and NT had been changed or distorted. Instead Quran commands to hold on to Torah and Injeel (Sura 10:37, 94).
Please note that nowhere in the Qur'an there is even a suggestion that the Christian Biblical text has been altered or corrupted. The word "tahrif" is never used with reference to the Christian Gospels (Injil). If you are a true Muslim Listen to the Quran in this matter.
Quran was referring to the hundreds of the original copies of the Jewish and Christian Bibles that was in use at the time of Mohammad and many of them were available in different languages.
The same Bible Muhammad would have seen (if he ever did) is in both (1) The Vatican (Codex Vaticanus) and (2) British Museum (Codex Sinaticus). It is all there, including Jesus dying on the cross as atonement for our sins. And, His resurrection, and ascension into heaven - in front of many witnesses. The New Testament is preserved in almost perfect condition in these two Greek texts which both predate Muhammad and Islam by over 200 years.
Will you believe the truth in the Holy Scripture and accept that Jesus died for your sins in order for you to escape the punishment in hell?
If you do not agree with the references I have given you from Quran please show me where does Quran say Christian Scripture has been corrupted? If you cannot show me this from Quran accept the message in the Holy Bible whose message has NOT changed before or after Mohammad.

Question: If you cannot prove me from Quran that Christian Scripture was not changed; will you accept the truth in the New Testament?
Question: You mentioned to me that the Bible was changed in 1950. Please give me proof and show me that the message of the Bible was changed. Prove to me that at least the following teachings were changed in the Bible.
1) Jesus died for sinners
2) Jesus is the Son of God
3) Isaac was the son Abraham took to be sacrificed
If you cannot prove this to me please, please stop saying that Bible was changed and then accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord to become a child of God.
Your Quoted: Surah15:9 We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).
ANSWER: Quran says in Surah 15:9 that the message sent down will be guarded from corruption. Torah and Injeel are being preserved from corruption. Bible guarantees that its message will be guarded for ever (Matt 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away).
Let us look in Quran to see what the definition of corruption is. Corruption according to Quran is changing the locations of words (Surah 4:46). I do not know who changed the location of even several chapters of Quran. Can you see this as a corruption according to the simple meaning of 4:46? The first 5 surahs were 96, 68, 73, 74 and 1. Who changed this? Don’t you think that if changing the position of words is corruption how much more the corruption is if position of an entire chapter is changed?
Personally I do not care whether Quran was changed or not. This criterion does not make a book worthy to be called a book from God. Since you claimed that Quran was not changed (even in text) I would like to give few more examples of changed Quran.
1) The Tashkent MSS differs from the modern Egyptian Qur’an in 5 passages: 2:284, 2:283, 3:37, 3:109 and 5:119. The Tashkent MSS uses the word 'Allah' while the modern Egyptian Qur'an, uses the word 'huwa' (the pronoun 'he'). My question is: Which word do you believe was in the original Quran? OR Who corrupted Quran?
2) In the original Quran the letters meem and nun are missing from Surah 7:27
3) In the original Quran the letter form for fa or qaf is present in 19:72 where as the letter nun in the modern versions.
4) There are two major versions of Quran writing in Hafs and Warsh. These are not arising from different Arabic dialects but are totally different in words. Quran is said to be revealed in one pure Quraysh Arabic. (Reference: “The Value of the Hafs and Warsh transmissions for the Textual History of the Quran” by Adrian Brockett).
a) In the original Quran an alif instead of yaa in the modern versions for 5:99
b) In the original Quran 7:69 is different from modern versions
Even before the Quran was compiled many verses were lost as testified by Mohammad’s best comapanions and his youngest wife Iesha
1) Abu musa forgot what was he reciting and only partly remembered it. He told this to 300 reciters of Quran and this part he knew was not included in Uthman quran showing that quran is not complete.
2) Iysha, the wife of Mohamed, testifies that the one with 73 verses had at least 200 verses orginally.
3) Umar says about the mention of stoning that is not found in the quran (Sahih Muslim p 912, Mishkat Vol II P. 534)
4) Uthman gave orders that all the copies that contradict from his should be burned (Mishkat Vol III P. 708). This again shows that Quran was corrupted even before it was compiled.

Question: Who are the enemies of Islam?
2) Again, we do not need any explanation from anyone. Let us go straight to the Word of God.
Whenever the angel Gabriel appeared to people in the Bible, they knew it was Gabriel or Gabriel introduced himself so that the people are sure that it is not an angel of Satan. Mohammad did not know who appeared to him.
Example:
Daniel knew it was Gabriel (Daniel 9:21) yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering. Mohammad was not aware of who appeared to him.
Zachariah knew that it was Gabriel and Gabriel introduced himself to Zachariah (Luke 1:19) And the angel answered and said to him, "I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings. Mohammad was not aware of who appeared to him and the spirit never introduced himself to Mohammad.
Mary knew it was the angel Gabriel who appeared to her
(Luke 1:26-35) Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,.. Mohammad was not aware of who appeared to him.
Mohammad received a message that was contrary to what was given to Mary by Gabriel proving that it was not Gabriel from God who appeared to Mohammad.
The message Gabriel gave to Mary was that Jesus would be called the Son of God (Luke 1:35) And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. The message the spirit that appeared to Mohammad said Jesus is not called the Son of God contrary to the message of the Gabriel from God.
Mohammad received a message that was contrary to what was given to the prophet Daniel by Gabriel proving that it was not Gabriel from God who appeared to Mohammad.
The message Gabriel gave to Daniel was that Messiah would die for sins (Dan 9:24-26) .. to put an end to sin, and to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, .. an Anointed One shall be cut off ..The message the spirit that appeared to Mohammad said Jesus did not die.
In the Bible, Abraham (Gen 22:11,15), Jacob (Gen 31:11), Moses (Exo 3:2) and others knew that it was the angel of God that appeared to them. Mohammad did not know who appeared to him.
When people were not sure about who appeared to them, they did not go to ask another person but God clearly revealed to them that it was the angel of God who appeared to them as we can see in the case of Gideon (Jdg 6:22-23) and in the case of Manoah (Jud 13:16-21). Mohammad had no confirmation from God that the spirit appeared to him was an angel of God.
You asked: Did the angel Gabriel introduce himself to Zachariah?
Answer: Yes, Gabriel did. (Luke 1:19 And the angel answered and said to him, "I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God, and was sent to speak to you and bring you these glad tidings).
Side note to your comment: By the way, Quran messed up the incident you mentioned about the angels appearing to Abraham. Please read how angels appeared to Abraham in Genesis chapter 18. It was three men who appeared to Abraham not 2. If Quran considers the third person as God in the flesh (like Jesus) there is no mess up in this incident from the part of Quran.
Short conclusion:
A) From the above evidences IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY that the receiving end should understand or the angel should introduce himself to be an angel from God in order to be from God. This evidence was clearly lacking when a spirit came even at the first time to Mohammad at the cave of Hira.
B) Another point is that this spirit who appeared to Mohammad pressed him down forcefully and asked him to recite, to which the terrified Mohammad replied I cannot recite. This ordeal repeated three times!
Don’t you think that the REAL angel of God should know about that Mohammad could not recite?
Also, don’t you know that REAL angel of God will not force you to do something you are not able to do?
c) Mohammad had to go to Kadijah his first wife terrified and said “Cover me, cover me.”. This experience of fear was with Mohammad several days! This NEVER was the case of Biblical prophets like Moses, Daniel or Elijah when they had angelic appearance.
D) Mohammad admitted that he had revelation from satan (Sura 53:19-20) and devil would intrude into his recitation (Sura 22:52). Biblical prophets were NEVER under the influence of satan and all their messages were from God.
E) I do not remember any prophets of God trying to commit suicide, however, I am surprised to see this in Mohammad (Al-Bukhari Vol 9, Number 111). Where was this thought of suicide from? Was it from the spirit who appeared to Mohammad?
F) In the Bible if any prophets had committed anything against the law of God they were punished for that disobedience. Even though Mohammad violated the law of Allah by taking more than 4 wives I do not see Allah punishing Mohammad for that. The spirit who appeared to Mohammad might have told that it is OK in his case to violate the law of Allah.
I would humbly ask you from the above references to accept the fact that it was not Gabriel from God who appeared to Mohammad.
G) Moreover, the messages revealed to Mohammad were completely opposite to the message of Jesus Christ. Following are some of the messages Mohammad received from this spirit that are contradictory from Jesus.
1) Jesus claimed that He is the Son of God. Quran denied this.
2) Jesus said He came to die for sinner and He died and resurrected on the 3rd day with proofs. Old Testament prophets like Isaiah and Daniel’s message agreed with the death of Jesus for sins. Quran denied that Jesus died!
3) Jesus taught that it was monogamy that God ordained for mankind. Quran teaches polygamy and gave special permission for any number of wives for Mohammad!
4) Jesus taught that if anyone marries a divorced is committing adultery. Quran allows what Jesus taught as adultery!
5) Jesus did not allow killing for any reason and Jesus or His disciples never killed anyone. Quran allows killing.
6) Jesus or the Bible or any OT prophets never promised a heaven that is of sexual nature. Quran describes a heaven that fulfills their sexual desires!
I have more to add to this list. Now see how much different the message the spirit gave to Mohammad from the Message of God in the Bible. This again concludes that it was not Gabriel from God who appeared to Mohammad.
Another point I want to make is when angel of God appeared to a person like Gideon he would completely destroy the idol worship place as seen in Judges 6:19-32. He destroyed the image that was there. However, Mohammad did not destroy the main idol at Kaaba the black stone image and made to strengthen the idol worship place in Mecca. He just followed what the idol worshippers did there before the time of Mohammad such as running around the stone, kissing the stone, making pilgrimage to the Kaaba and fasting during Ramadan. All these were the rituals of pagan Meccans before the time of Mohammad. I am writing to you as a friend to make you think.
Let me give you few more points.
If you compare Quran with Bible it is clear that Quran does not carry the signature of God in any form. What I mean by this is:
1) God never wrote even a part of Quran
2) God never asked Mohammad or Ibn Masud or anyone to write Quran down as a book.
3) God never spoke to Mohammed as did to Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Samuel, etc..
4) God never appeared to Mohammed as appeared to Abraham, Isaac, Samuel and Solomon
5) God’s word was never directly spoken as “the LORD God said” “the Lord said” “the Lord says” “God says” “God said” in Quran
6) Quran is ignorant about the teachings of the Bible as Quran says Christians have three Gods and Mary is one of the three. God CANNOT make this mistake about the Bible as the Holy Bible teaches about ONE GOD and Mary was never elevated to have any divinity.
7) People told Mohammed directly that the revelations he claims as from God is nothing new as they are just the old fables they heard before. Mohammed could not give any proof against the people’s claim.
Conclusion
What I proved to you from Quran was that
1) Quran testifies that the Christian Scripture is the Word of God and this Scripture was available at the time of Mohammad and was NOT corrupted.
2) The spirit appeared to Mohammad was NOT the angel Gabriel from God who appeared to Mary, Zachariah and Daniel.
3) Quran has been corrupted even from the beginning.
In conclusion of my response to you, I would like to sincerely invite you to JESUS CHRIST so that you may have eternal life in heaven. Because, the Quran is not from the God of the Bible I would ask you to read the Word of God. Read the Gospels first, the life and teachings of Jesus. You will find a Loving Savior in Jesus who would save you from your sins and thereby from hell. This is the ONLY way to heaven.
Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)

there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, (1 Tim 2:5-6)

I am just repeating your question. I ask you – how can there be known errors in the word of God? So, God does not know? Even if there can be one error, how can that book be accepted as the word of God?

Response: I do not want you to convert to Christianity. I want you to be converted (repent of your sins, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and follow Jesus to heaven) and become a child of God by putting faith in Jesus Christ (John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name). God DOES NOT have a religion. True God DID NOT give us a religion. True God gave us SALVATION through Jesus Christ (Rom 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved).
I want you to be converted after realizing that you are a sinner, the sins you committed will be punished in hell and there is no escape from hell forever, and you need a Savior to save you from hell punishment. Jesus said: I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance. If you are looking unto Jesus and coming to follow Christ I invite you to become a Christian. You SHOULD NOT come to become a Christian for any other reason. You can stay in your religion if you do not need the Savior to save you from hell.
I do not understand why you invite me to Islam. There is NO Savior in Islam. Even Mohammad was not sure of going to heaven (Surah 46:9, Bukhari Vol 5, 266, Vol 4, 16). The message in Islam came only through one person who was not sure where the message came from, could not do any miracles (Surah 29:50) even when being doubted by people about his revelations, and so on (the message of the Bible came through 40 different people but with ONE message. Which one you want to believe? The message came through just one person without any proof OR the message came through 40 different people with proofs?)
I invite you to Christ because He is the Savior who came from and went back to heaven and will come back again to receive His followers to heaven. He was sinless, virgin born, miracle worker, perfect Human, predicted His death and resurrection with accuracy, knew future things, knew what is in your heart and was not touched by Satan (compare this with Mohammad and decide who do you want to follow). He died for you sins and He is the Judge of the living and the dead. He was killed to give life for others and He killed no one. His words are eternal and every human will be judged by His teachings.

My contention is that the Bible in the present form is not the word of God but if you say it is then please respond to these contradictions/errors. I am really eager to see what you have to say about these proven contradictions/errors. If you accept, please say so.

1) I proved to you from Quran that Christian Scripture was NOT changed. If you do not agree with the references I have given you from Quran please show me where does Quran say Christian Scripture has been corrupted? If you cannot show me this from Quran accept the message in the Holy Bible whose message has NOT changed before or after Mohammad. If you cannot show me from the Quran that Christian Scripture has been changed and if you are still saying Christian Scripture has been changed YOU ARE SAYING THAT QURAN IS WRONG. I did show you that the Quran is upholding the Christian Scripture.
2) You mentioned to me that the Bible was changed in 1950. Please give me proof and show me that the message of the Bible was changed in 1950. Prove to me that at least the following teachings were changed in the Bible: Jesus died for sinners, Jesus is the Son of God and Isaac was the son Abraham took to be sacrificed.
3) The first 5 surahs were 96, 68, 73, 74 and 1. Who changed this in Quran? Don’t you think that if changing the position of words is corruption (Surah 4:46) how much more the corruption is if position of an entire chapter is changed?
4) I gave you references that Quran was changed even from the beginning. You had no response to it!

You are skirting around the topic. I did not ask you to respond to a u-tube. I only sent it as a link to you to enlighten you to original hebrew text that confirms the divine revelation of Muhammad PBUH coming as the last Messenger of God.
Remember, Jesus PBUH is not the savior of anybody. He himself said, he did all those miracles in the name of God - as a blessing of God. If you follow his teaching which is what the Muslims do and follow the teaching of all the Messengers from Adam PBUH till the last and final Messenger of God Muhammad PBUH, then God on the Day of Judgement may save you from the Hellfire. Also, remember what Jesus PBUH said on the cross "Elohim Elohim, lama sabachtani" Mark (Chap 15 Verse 34) translated as "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?". If he is God, like some ill-advised people believe, then why is he addressing to another entity (third party) for help? Why didn't he help himself? So, when he died, the God died? So, there is no God right now because He died? If there is no God, then who is running this world?
We Muslims believe, Jesus PBUH was neither killed nor crucified. He was raised above unto the Heavens. He will come back before the world ends as the follower of Muhammad PBUH, kill the pig, break the cross and tell the Christians to go away from him for they changed his message and called him God.
Again, I invite you sincerely to Islam. On the day of judgement when you stand infront of God, you cannot claim that the message/invitation did not reach you.

I was carefully giving answers to your questions and comments. For the links and the U-tube video you sent me I responded with other links and told you that answers for the links and u-tube video’s are in the WEB itself. You just have to do a search. Also, I sent you many links as a response to your links. Moreover, I asked you many questions and made many comments to which you did not answer me. Yet, as a follower of Jesus Christ to heaven I am still answering your questions and comments.
I had proved to you that Mohammad was not mentioned in the Bible as a prophet of God. Also, I proved to you that Mohammad was not visited by the Gabriel, the angel of God. If you think that I did not does this PLEASE send me the reference and we will go from there. Honestly, if I have to relate Mohammad in the Bible you may not like to hear the truth. Let me give you just one example if I may. The Word of God says: He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son (1John 2:22). This is not my opinion. My Response: Do you know that Allah is not the Savior? Allah never revealed as the Savior. This is why you do not have a Savior to save you from Judgment and Quran says that those who are in hell will not come out of it- Surah 4:121!! (According to Quran everyone will have to go to hell – Surah 19: 71!!).
God of the Bible is the Savior (Book of Isaiah chapter 43 verse 11: I, even I, am the LORD, And besides Me there is no Savior. (Titus 3:4, 1Ti 1:1, Tit 1:3, Tit 2:10, Jud 1:25).
Is Jesus the Savior?
A. Jesus Himself said He is the Savior of the world (John 12:47 .. for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world).
B. Jesus has testimony from God that He is the Savior
1) Testimony of the angel to the shepherds: (Luke 2:11) For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
2) Testimony of the angel to Joseph the husband of Mary: (Matt 1:21) And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins."
3) Testimony of John the disciple of Jesus: (1John 4:14) And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.
4) Testimony of Peter the disciple of Jesus: (Acts 5:31) Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.
5) Testimony of the apostle Paul through Holy Spirit: (Titus 2:13) looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ
6) Word of God testifies that Jesus is the Savior in many places: Php 3:20, 2Ti 1:10, Tit 1:4, 2Pe 1:1, 2Pe 1:11, 2Pe 2:20, 2Pe 3:2, 2Pe 3:18
Now you are saying that Jesus is not the Savior!! Where did you get this revelation?
Friend, once again I have shown you the truth. It is up to you to decide what to do with this truth. Either you can accept Jesus as your Savior to go to heaven or you can make God a liar by saying Jesus is not the Savior contrary to the Word of God.

Answer: Jesus came in Human form to become a substitute for humans on the cross to die for the sins of the world. Jesus was completely human on earth for this purpose while He was completely God. It was the humanity of Jesus that was born as a normal baby, grew up, ate, became hungry, did miracles by the power of God, etc. In order to represent a human Jesus had to have all these human qualities except sinful nature.

Answer: On the cross Jesus was representing a human and when the sins of the people was taken upon him God had to forsaken this HUMAN (Jesus). This is the reason Jesus cried out on the cross "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" as a human would have done. The whole purpose of the coming of Jesus was for this purpose to die on the cross for the sins of mankind. This is the reason Jesus was not being helped. If Jesus had not died for the sins NO humans would be in heaven. I thank God for sending His Son to be punished on the cross for my sins to save me from hell.
NB: It is good to notice here that Jesus was NOT calling Allah, Allah but Eli, Eli since Allah was the moon god.

Answer: Please understand what death is. In death what happens is the spirit is just leaving the body. So when Jesus died, that means, His Spirit just left the body. The Son of God always exists whether in the Human body or out of body.

C. Jesus Himself says about His death after His death & resurrection (Revelation 1:17-18)
D. Angel testified Jesus' death (Mat 28:5-7)
E. Jewish high priest prophesied of Jesus' death(Joh 11:49-51)
F. Centurion confirmed Jesus’ death(Mar 15:44 -45)
G. History speaks of Jesus’ death
H. Many other evidence……
Lastly, I will give reference from Quran too. In Surah 19: 33, Quran says Jesus said shortly after his birth: "So Peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"
Friend, it is not about what Muslims believe. It is all about what truth is and what the OT prophets, Jesus and the history says. If you still do not want to accept that Jesus died I have no comment but will have pity on you and I will pray for you as I have been praying for you.

Answer: Please do not blaspheme Jesus by saying He will be a follower of Mohammad. Please think before you say something like this. Hi Alex,
Sorry to say this - I don't think there is no point in continuing this discussion any more. To you your religion and to me my religion and we will see on the Judgement Day who has been the true worshipper of God and when every man from Adam PBUH till the last man on earth will be judge only by Allah and no other savior. By the way did you know that Allah is only the translation of the english word God? Even the middle easten christians whose mother tongue is arabic, use the word Allah when they pray. It just means God.
Anyway, I thought by explaining you the truth, you will see the light but if you want to continue to follow your way - so be it.

Dear Zakir,
It was sorry to hear that you want to stop discussion. We are not discussing about politics or such. We are discussing about the most important subject which determines where will we spend our eternity – Eternity in hell or eternity in heaven. I would really encourage you to continue this discussion for the sake of finding the truth. We can talk over the phone or in person if you do not like to write to me. Almighty God has given us opportunity to choose the correct path. It will be foolishness from our part if we do not investigate and choose the correct path especially when it is about us going to heaven or hell. You know that we both cannot be correct as Mohammad got revelations which are contrary to the Jewish and Christian prophets.
Let me tell you about one of the factors which directed me to study more on the Bible and its history. About 10 years ago I was not aware of the teachings of Quran and the teachings of Islam religion. At that time an unknown Muslim person sent me several emails at my work place stating that Jesus is just a prophet, Jesus did not die, He is not the Son of God, etc. I started to do more study on my own faith and on Islam. The more I studied I understood that there is too many evidence for the Jesus of the Bible who is the Only Savior who became a Human to die for the sins of the world and in fact no evidence for the Jesus of Quran other than Quranic claims who is just a prophet who did not die. Any way I do not want to write a lot. I would humbly ask you to investigate on the credibility of Quran and the revelations Mohammad received. Please start with how Mohammad received it first time. Then read about the life of historical Mohammad from haddiths and compare with the prophets of God. Also, please read a New Testament.
I did not only rely on intellectual investigation only to compare Quranic message and Biblical message but I relied on the spiritual aspects too. I was able to experience the filling of the Holy Spirit in my own life as it happened to the apostles and early Christians. This was the Comforter Jesus was mentioning about in John chapter 14. This event which happened on June 28, 2003 entirely changed my life and God is helping me to be a witness for Him. Do not think that it was by accident you met me on the street. God loves you and your family. God want you to know the truth. Not only you will save yourself you will save your family also if you come to Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins.
I cannot just tell you as you mentioned “To you your religion and to me my religion (this is from Quran)” since I know what would happen to you if you stay without choosing Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
To comment on your commend about the meaning of Allah: I know people use Allah for God. However, in Surah 4:125 there is two words for Allah. One is Il-lah (to god) and the other is Al-lah (the god). Al means ‘the’ in Arabic and lah means god. For all the 99 names of Al lah the article Al is used because it is a unique name attributed to God. Example: Al-Haq (the truth), Al-baeth (the resurrection), etc. By the way Jesus claimed that He is Al-Haq, Al-baeth, etc. In Quran Al was used only for Jesus other than Allah when it says Al-Maseeh!! If we say Allah is just Arabic term for god then how would the shahada statement would read? It would read “There is no god but god.” I do not think this makes sense.

I would be interested to hear. You have stated that the Koran cannot be corrupted because some men memorized it verbatum. Yet, those men are dead. I know from my Muslim friend that there is only one orgivinal copy of the Koran and no one has ever seen it. How has the written versions of the Koran stayed pure.
ReplyDeleteAlso, what is your evidence that the Old Testament which has ancient texts found and dated and the Christian's Gospels that have over 5 thousand hand written copies...made before Mohammed was evern born have been corrupted. First you must have an original document to prove it was different. There are many tales of Abraham that are different in the Koran... places he visited...ages of the children and the tale of the Zum Zum water which is (according to on Imam I know) only verbal tradition and not in the Koran, yet people believe in it as if it were true.
Consider that the Gospel accounts of Christ's death and resurrection was documented less than 45 years event when it could have been refuted by those who were alive and those early writings were documented by 5 thousand copies that don't disagree with the original documents.
It is intersting to note that these verses in the Koran that you quote came after Mohammed was "mayor" of what is not Madina and that after he accepted another man's wife was rejected by both local Christians and Jews. I have discovered on the Internet a Koran that is
Chronilogical and the animostiy in the Koran directed at Christian and Jews were included only after this incident. Investigate thoroughly what you believe.

Eventhough Muslims claim that Quran is not changed it is a proven fact from the Islamic sources that Quran was corrupted even before Uthman made it into one Quran after burning all the Quranic writings that were contrary to his copy. It is very interesting that Muslims were taught that Bible has been changed and they could not produce any proof for it since thousands of copies of the NT are still available that were from before the time of Mohammed. Satan has blinded the eyes of the Muslims not to believe the truth.
Ibn-Khazem in 1064 AD was the first muslim to charge that Bible has been corrupted and falsified by later followers of Moses and Jesus in order to account for the discrepancies in the Quran with the Bible.
